Kaneshin service

Just wanted to remark on the incredible serviceI received from kaneshin. I ordered a pair of stainless scissors late Thursday night last week, they arrived at my door this morning and this isn't the first time I've had this kind of service from kaneshin. :hooray:
When you e-mail with queries, Mr Nishimura is quick to answer as well.

I originally just went onto the kaneshin site and joined as a member, costs nothing and as a member you get points on each purchase which you can save up for a bigger discount or just use them for discount on your next purchase .

I'll +1 that Peter and extend the courtesy to all of the Japanese companies I've dealt with (3).

It's a shame I didn't treat their products with the same respect. It's back to cheapies until I learn how to behave myself :cry:

Peter, I believe Stainless cutting tools are a bit of a gimmick. You cannot improve on a carbon steel edge.

I agree with that, the reason I wanted s/s was my tools are up in the house in a tool roll in a bag and trees at the bottom of the garden. Sometimes I'll see a twig needs cutting etc. The hassle of getting out a tool in the 4-5 mins I have spare , to hard. The stainless I'll hang up on the bench and it's ready to hand. It's a trial at present :fc:

Plus ten points for Kaneshin. I ordered no 41 scissors on Monday and they turned up today. Very happy with my purchase and their service.
