Hello fellow bonsai enthusiasts, over winter with not much to do with my sticks in pots I got the urge to get some fair dinkum Aussie made pots. So I pm a few potter's asking if they had anything around 20cm + wide and not to shallow, wasn't really fussed with glaze or colour just size and most important makers stamp at the bottom. Not all bothered to reply, but was very pleased by the quick response and quality of pots by madpotter aka Tracy from murrumbung studio and Marie Hewartson. Both excellent potter's and great service highly recommend both.
At the time didn't have any plans for the pots but unfortunately after the windy day we had last week my trident from Shibui had fallen and required new pot.
Earlier this year while staying in Daylesford I went and paid bodhirama a visit very beautiful place on a goldmine and very nice trees. Picked up this Chinese elm and have been waiting until now to put it in a bonsai pot. I'm thinking I'll pot it in the blue and white as it's the biggest out of the pots.
