Hi guys,

Id like to share with you a progression of a Shimpaku i bought to do a wokshop with Bjorn with. I'd be volenteering at Bonsai Art nursery in Heatherton at the time, and knew all the trees on the benches fairly well at that point. I had been eyeing this tree off for it's nebari and trunk. It was a challenging tree and back then i was pretty hopless at bonsai. So i thought it would be a great fit for a workshop with Bjorn.

I was super happy with what Bjorn was able to pull out of the tree.

I fed this tree like crazy following the workshop and tried to photograph it fairly regularly.

Unusually good nebari for a shimpaku.
