Shohin Chinese Elm Redesign

I have had this little broom style Chinese elm for quite a while now and decided it was time to give it a new "home" this year. A couple of weeks ago I chose a very nice Pat Kennedy pot and was very pleased with the result. Unfortunately there is no photo of the tree in its new pot. Getting hand made one off pots by Australian potters is great and one of my passions, but when they are gone (smashed) they are irreplaceable which is sad. I did particularly like the glaze on that pot but the new pot is also a hand made one off Australian pot - not quite as suitable for this tree in my opinion, but still quite OK.
During the very severe winds we have been having for the last week or so a branch was knocked of a tree in my yard and it hit my "new" bonsai on the way down. The pot was smashed and the tree had all the branches on one side ripped off.
The solution is - its time for a redesign and a new pot!
The first photo is the new front and look I had chosen.
