What does a privet leaf look like?

Could some1 post a close up privet leaf? I still don't know what i looks like!

here you go, there's two main types that you see most common in bonsai...

small leaf and big leaf.

they have fruit but are a pest in this country (everywhere i've lived) so be careful of thier fruit spreading.

they both respond exceedingly well to any kind of pruning, so get kinky with them ;)

Being a hedging plant, Privet thrives on repeated trimming. Its so common in hedges around me that it is usually ignored as bonsai. I have seen very few but what I have seen are very good.

thanks aaron and don. I think I have the whole hedge of the small leaf ones. Never knew that they are privets. Do they have white flowers like jasmine?

Privet does exhibit an insignificant flower if left untrimmed. This is unlikely to happen in the case of a bonsai.
