Beating the bulldozers

Hi All
The past few years has seen my local area consumed by redevelopment.
Open space being turned into cluttered suburbia. It is what it is I guess.
Anyhow this opens up lots of opportunities for collecting. Today being Sunday
it was a good time for snooping before the bulldozers start tomorrow morning.
I thought I should to re-check one area that was once home to plant growers.
So early this afternoon I peeled myself off my couch and went for a look .
Turns out I missed these two figs. Being macrocarpas they will make good bases for grafting onto. :fc:
Every tree I save from developers gives me a good buzz. Doesn't really matter to me if it
becomes bonsai or a garden tree as long as it escapes it's previous fate
cheers
& Keep on collecting!!!! [etically] :tu:

Agree that it's always good to beat the bulldozers, and give the trees another chance. Well done!
