Hi Ausbonsai members,
I am lucky enough to be moving from a townhouse to a corner block (yay, more trees!) and am scouting the new yard to determine what plants I will keep and what I will remove.
So, if anyone knows what the following are, I would love to know.

Plant 1. There are 2 of these, and I am planning to remove them:
Plant 2. This is growing as a low sprawling ground cover around the house:
Plant 3 is a small tree which is quite lovely. I don't plan to remove it unless it is invasive:
Get cracking, experts, and tell me what I have!!!

Hi Redsonic . The first one Duranta repens . The second asparagus fern and the third Tibouchina .

Agree with sno on all three. Although I’ve never seen asparagus fern flower or fruit so it threw me initially.

I had a feeling the first was Duranta repens, and will be removing the 2 plants with a clean conscience. There are heaps of Duranta "Sheena's Gold" around the back; I may offer them up for a bonsai dig if anyone is interested.
The Asparagus fern also will go, and I picked up some Austromyrtus today for that spot.
The Tibouchina will stay; it looks like a lovely tree.

All the Duranta plants produce the poisonous berries, and most have thorns, so beware when cutting!

I've seen some beautiful cascade bonsai with the Duranta repens, and I've got a little Duranta Sheena's Gold in a shohin pot, so don't discount them completely, unless you're just wanting to stick to Aussies

Yep, I have kept you in mind as survey all the extra space I am going to have. We will miss the mighty benjamina and the amazing ecosystem it supports at our current place though.
