This is a white Lilac i, believe it or not, picked up on the side of the road. It was ripped out to make way for a rockery. It was 8 metres tall. It hung out of the back of the ute and rubbed on the road all the way home. That was 7 years ago and this is the tree as it is today. I have spent a lot of time working on how to blend in the carving with what nature had already produced for me. The branching is still quite immature but time is the only cure for that. The tree is 900mm tall and 300mm at the base.

Very intersting tree, and always great to see tree in flower. We must may similar climates as we have the annual Lilac City Festival the first weekend in October (always a week before the majority of the flowers come out thoght?).
