Seedlings

Hey Guys,
I'm looking for some stock for field growing. I'm after young trees, bargain price, various species, Non-invasive species. I'd like to start with about 50 trees and work up from there.

Anywhere within about an hr of Melb would be fine.

Anyone got anything they want to rid themselves of or have any recommendations on where I might find what I'm after?

Thanks

I don't have anything ready just yet, but I should do in a few months.

I have some Wisteria shooting, and waiting for Japanese Black Pine, Acer Palmatum, LiquidAmbar, Melaleuca, and Turpentine Syncarpia seeds to shoot now (planted the 50 LiquidAmbar today actually!)

Probably doesn't help you now sorry, but if you're in Tassie in a few months, stop by :D

I just bought a Japanese maple as tubestock from Home hardware,$2.50, was surprised to see it offered like this, of course box is commonly available this way cheaply. If you want even cheaper, register a business name (free) and then go to the wholesale nurseries. You don't have to worry about tax, etc, if you aren't making an income from it, but you can buy plants at about half normal nursery price (and equipment, potting mix, tools, pots..)
