this book is for me inspiration in its purest form.
crazy crazy stuff happens to this guys trees, he is surely one of the greatest masters of all time.
a bit from the back cover says "an interviewer asked kimura about technique, his response was"if you are not capable of desiring to express your feelings with all your strength, then technique is not going to help.""

Kimura is certainly an enigma to the world of Bonsai, I have his first book 'The Bonsai Art of Kimura' and what he can do with huge stock in order to reduce its size is in my opinion nothing short of magic.

if you can remember "the resurrection", this one is amazing!

Again as it says the magic of Kimura. The book is definatly not for the beginner though. He stated in Sydney we in Australia are not ready for that!!.
I have broken one of my Golden rules , I am repeating what was told to me not what I heard.
It is however when you go though the book it shows he is a very Capable man unconventional, that is why his apprenticeship was longer than most. His problem was the etiquet and and tradition. He was more than capable. His Sensei( master ) does not decide, a bit like our apprenticeship board.
So it was conform or stay, stubborn person. As told by a good freind of his. Pup
