Shimpaku Juniper

I bought this from Shibui 4 years ago and this is how it looks like now.

I've just turned on Ausbonsai and found another photo of another one of my babies
You've managed to build up those foliage pads really nicely in the time you've had it. Just shows what a bit of dedicated care can do
I think the wild, random movement of the trunks and branches looks good on these junipers and I think you've used the material really well.

This juniper turned up really well, im happy with the progress so far.

Thank you. It will definitely go to a smaller pot later on. For the meantime, ill leave it with that pot to quickly grow.

Yep, “bl@@dy good” is the technical bonsai term for this tree.
Bonsai teaches me patience.

Just repotted this Shimpaku to a smaller pot. I have to cut some big roots from the nebari to fit it in. It needs a haircut later this year.
