Hi All,

I wasn't sure where to put this thread... but I wanted to circulate it because I reckon the pictures are so beautiful that it's like a show!

This morning I received an email about a Bonsai Mirai sale.

While I will never be able to afford such trees, I think that most of the trees listed (see link below) look fantastic. From this amateur's eyes - this is the Bonsai aesthetic that I love. At once traditional but also on the leading edge of design ... in my mind, I can see so many of these in a wild setting. Yep, no doubt, that's where most have been collected but to keep and that 'wildness' while migrating to Bonsai - now there's skill.

Anyway - this is eye candy for the Bonsai enthusiast... well I reckon anyway. See below:

As a follow-up. I am taken by the Coastal Redwoods ... No's 3, 7, 8, 9. Some of the 'cheaper' plants listed - not because of their price though... because I want to look at them again and again. Anyway... some of the others listed, I am not so taken with. Each to their own I guess.

Also, some of these trees, reminded of Alpineart's recent post on this forum re: the Phoenix Graft. viewtopic.php?f=104&t=14179&p=257904#p257904. Good stuff Alpineart!

If i lived nearby and those were Maples i'd be in serious trouble financially speaking. Fortunatly i am able to resist pines and junipers to a reasonable extent, but the maples get me every time

has anyone ever had any luck purchasing anything from mirai? obviuosly trees are a no no but when i tried to order pots it says they dont deliver to australia... emailed them too and have had no reply...
