I think Lindsay did a great job. Not sure about the wire scars though. I saw one that had massive scars and the wire was still on? Hope that is part of the design?

Yeah. I saw some that had huge wire scars aswell. REALLY BAD!

Yes my daughter rang me to watch, I did watch but found it too short for beginner like me I thought it was going to be 1/2hr long guess not, I would like to see more. I too was a bit concerned about the wire. Will it be taken off later Is that what happens when the wire is left too long sheba53

Yes Sheba,
The wire was left far to long and has cut into the bark! This is awful for the tree and will be left there for a VERY,VERY,VERY long time. If this happens the branch should be rmoved in most cases.

being a former employee of lindsay, i was very excited to see some of his trees again, i spent a lot of time watering and admiring those trees! indeed there was a shot of a terrible wire scar but i think the camera man or editor must have thought it was relevant and decide to show it lol
