ID please

What is the oak on the left? This is an evergreen oak with smooth bark.

The leaf on the right is from a cork oak.

I think you might be asking a bit much for an ID from just a single leaf Steve. There's only about 800 to consider and probably more than half have similar lobed leaves.
Evergreen and smooth bark will probably narrow down the possibilities a bit but seed may be needed to definitively ID.
Not Q. robur if it is evergreen.

Steve, the nearest species I can find is Quercus pubescens native to West Asia, Central and Southern Europe.
