It is interesting to hear what judges look for, isn't it Anthony!
I really appreciate the effort Carole went to for this judging.

Yes great respect to the judges and to a after talk on them that is know easy feat either, fantastic....may I ask which bonsai areas Carole is from...I m in my own little world here Mel lol..cheers

Anthony, Carole is currently the President of the Gold Coast Tweed Bonsai club, she lives in the hinterland.

Yes, thanks for sharing MelB, the native raft is beautiful in its simplicity and it conveys a landscape wonderfully well. As Carol indicates - good trees, groups, landscapes transport you to another place. Very cool.

Thanks Mel, some stunning trees there. Very interesting critic and good hints on how to better display trees by tilting and changing angles.
