Mel,

i have been using the information from Rodale [ on-line] since 1986 or so.
I have never had to spray anything and use a very simple soi mixl.
Just grow and clip [ Directional pruning ].

When a plant is ill, everything will do what they are supposed to do - destroy it.

Next year will be my 41th year with Bonsai.
I was 17 when I started, but had an idea about Bonsai since I was 15.
I also grow vegetables with companion plants.

My avatar - is from seed and almost 40. A Tamarindus indica.
