A very interesting tree repotted onto a slab. This tree is very unique. The top looks like it was made to resemble been broken off at some point over time due to the harsh weather in Europe .A new top has grown out the side then been driven by the sun starting growing straight up . The term natural style gets thrown around a lot but for me this tree is a pretty good example. Anyway thought some of you guys might enjoy it , I know I did as i'm a spruce fan , finding one this advance in Australia may take a lifetime or longer.

Thanks for posting the video and yes, an intriguing tree. I’m interested in the back story - in its training after it was collected - what was the original shape, what design decisions were made etc... (ie - what nature originally provided and what man’s hand has since shaped) I’ll check out Bonsai Empire - the story is probably there. Also, while I understand the logic of the new top - I think they have made a smart choice to partially hide the right angle/strong arm look of the new top from the front; it’s a feature for sure but better for being softened I reckon. Similarly, I reckon the way they have treated the ground in the new planting is wise too; it blends the huge trunk into reasonably rugged ground, which works for me. With that last comment, I am talking about the actual ground layer/gravel and little accent plants.
