I recently acquired my first large JBP and I thought i would start a thread on this tree so i can track it's development over time

This JBP is approximately 35 years old and has been ground grown. The roots were worked and reduced July 2018 and is growing in 100% pumice.

Structural design work is complete and further ramification development to continue.

I'm also thinking about putting it into a drum style Japanese pot in the future

Good choice, the base is excellent and the growth is nicely balanced all over the tree. I look forward to seeing how this progresses.
