Hi All ,
I know these are not to most peoples taste ,but thought I would share . I have always loved the look of the Chinese Dragon Bonsais and have been tinkering with these two on and off for a few years .Not really knowing what I was doing but this is the result. .First year in a pot for both so I might try and make something of them. Not even sure what is the best side...

I love a bit of “left of field” and these are nothing if not interesting. I particularly like the top one you posted (from both angles) but they both have merit. Nice job!

Those emoji's above represent the range of emotions I had as I looked and re-looked at them.

I like the first dragon - it flew straight out of a dark corner in a Harry Potter set.

In short, interesting ... I probably would not collect a lot of these 'lil dragons but I would have one on a short leash - I can see why they are liked. Thanks for posting.

Wonderful dynamic and energetic forms in the Chinese style. I particularly like the coiled root-mass - the thrashing mess of lines gives a great base for the tree to rise from. So they don't look like a "proper" style? - who cares? It's impressive art, well beyond the habitual patterns we often fall back on.

I like them both John! I'm a bit of a fan of these styles too, so have been giving some Chinese elms a bit of a hard time myself.

Really interesting to see such different trees to the normal styles they are grown in. I'd be keen to see updated photos of how these look in leaf as well if you could find time in spring.

For the sole purpose of being art, I love the first one, almost looks like a Chinese Dragon from those new year celebrations, well done.

I’m not a fan of the 2nd one. Looks too confusing to me.
