New Pinus Halepensis

Picked up this halepensis in july from Bonsai Emporium.
Peter was hesitant to sell but considering the age in the trunk i was happy to pay what he was asking.
Gave it an immediate repot when i got it home. and spent the next few weeks slowly adding wire to the primary branches, been busy with a new born so only hit one pair of branches at a time whenever i got a spare 15 minutes. i expect the wire to start biting pretty soon so saw no point in secondary wiring which can wait till next winter. I also took about a foot off the top which i think has dramatically improved the scale of the tree.
Probably should have taken peters advice and pinched the growth back much further but being new to the species and freshly repotted i decided to go easy on that front.
mite drive back up there over the next few weeks and see if i can get some more guidance,
