Lots of trees and people in that photo from last year Marlene - who's that in that cap and scarf.
Hey AB folk,
put the 30th November in your diary - this is a good sale day; a day to pick up trees, pots and other bonsai related material. If last year is anything to go by, there will a great mix of excellent mature stock but also good young trees too. Something for everyone.
Come and enjoy the sale and as noted, there will be a small display of trees too.
Cheers,
Mark

Yep, come along and say hi. My step-dad and I will have a couple of tables.
I'm not sure what he'll have yet but I imagine that I'll have a range of Chinese elm seedlings. You know how I love my forests... but how many can a man have. I'll have four or so 'starter' forests - I haven't counted but probably around twenty seedlings in each tray - two years old with the tap roots cut in the first year and re-potted in early spring this year. You could keep the tray whole or split 'em up into seperate trees - whatever floats your boat. Apart from this I reckon I'll have a whole range of Chinese elm seedlings in clumps and plenty of other stuff too. I am in reduce mode, trying to earn a few pennies as I rationalise stock and move from starter to intermediate stock.
If last year is any indication, there will be plenty of other sellers with far more advanced stock than I - so plenty available, depending on what you want to play with. Come and have a look-see.
Cheers,
Mark

There are a few others too - most that are left are shohin sized. The next firing will have bigger pots, and a lot of pots with texture!
All these pots were is a 3 day firing.

Hey Tracey,
I look forward to catching up on the weekend. If you have a laptop, bring it along and I'll show you how to load photos (albeit seems like you are able to do that!) Anyway - whatever the hassles, happy to help.
Also - to anyone thinking of coming... I understand there are experienced growers like Michael Simonetto coming to this sale day too. Why is that important. Well, along with starter-stock from people like myself - there will be more advanced stock, sometimes harder to find stock and simply, better bonsai and per-bonsai stock from a range of experienced enthusiasts. There are also a range of potters (or potterers

too.
So plenty to offer everyone - wherever you sit in the experience spectrum. And a small display of trees out from too.
Cheers,
Mark

I certainly take card payments, Gregoryg. I have seen a number of other vendors do too. I think most of the vendors who sell regularly take cards.
