Old Kunzea.

A update on a Kunzea that I have had for a long time. Older members might remember this tree from a early Native Competition .Have been working on this one occasionally ,well maybe not enough as a borer completely eat his way down the whole length of the bottom branch .As a result the branch is starting to drop a little .Thinking of taking the bottom section of the branch of. Also hard work for the tree to sustain a branch so far below the horizon. I think it will clean it up a bit as well. Originally aiming for a windswept design but now more than happy the way it is.
Always open for feedback , and new ideas.
Cheers John.

My :2c: I like it :tu: the way it is. I would give it a good hair cut not sure how much you can get away with cutting back as have heard some wont back bud. This looks like it may be one of those? The ends just look too full n heavy. I think I would try keep the bottom branch and just remove the longer bottom fork that look to be dragging in down. The top middle looks congested too. So just thinning out.
But over well done  very nice.
Cheers
Kirky

Another beauty John. I think that bottom branch is what makes the tree for me (well done little borer ...) but if ever that branch was lost the one above is snaking it’s way down nicely too. I’m with Kirky in that it could be thinned out a tad. Great pot too. As usual, your work. (Emojis for Rory )
