Winter is coming...
Adelaide normally has a pretty long growing season (and I'm not suggesting it is over yet) but the signs of the change of season are certainly here. Our ornamental pear is colouring up as are the ones lining the streets.
Normally our colour isn't that great on the plains and we need to take a drive into the hills to enjoy autumn. I know some of you get really good colour on your trees, so share it around and post them here. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Some warm days and cold nights heading my way. Give it a week might see some nice change start.

Re: Winter is coming...
I’ve seen a few leaves on one of my Chinese Elms yellowing, and the very margins of my Ginkgo stump leaves have a hint of yellow, but otherwise not a whole lot happening in SE Melbourne

Re: Winter is coming...
It is amusing to me how placing in the backyard differs from plant to plant. I have several Golden Rain tree seedlings. One is showing a beautiful autumnal red gold colour hue and another not 2 feet away are still growing and bright green. the green ones are under slight shade and the redding one is in full sun and weather. such a beautiful contrast.

Re: Winter is coming...
Golden rain trees are changing here too.
Colour is better in the hills. This is a pin oak.
