I've never attempted a forest before and this seemed like a fun thing to do with my daughters.

I received a few trident maple seeds at a CBS meeting a year or two back and had about 30 in this pot. As another project we took nine out and made a clump. There was 3 liquidamber seedlings which I took out as well. So I made a forest out of what was left. This pic is before the move.

Very cool that your are involving your daughter gnichols! Mine don't seem to share my interest.

So I potted it up on Friday and then added the moss yesterday. Probably more a ten year project than anything spectacular for this competition.
The girls call it the Enchanted forest from Frozen.
