Sno’s greenhouse project

I just bought a greenhouse from one of my neighbours and thought I would start a thread about it . It’s a longish term project mainly because where I am going to put it requires a lot of work to prepare the site . I got it fairly cheap because it has sustained a bit of damage due to the high winds we have in my area . The dimensions at the moment are 10 m x 5 m but by the time I finish it will be 8 m x 5 m . It’s designed to be built in 2 m segments so I am going to lose one segment to use as parts to replace all the broken bits . So here it is .

Great score Sno.
Try not to fill it right up. A small, warm and protected working area can be really handy when the cold wind is whistling through outside.

Wow, wish I had one of those. But if I did I wouldn't have a backyard.

+1 - I wouldn’t have a courtyard ...or a wife! Pretty sure the kids might decide to move somewhere too.

Ah the joys of living in the bush . Apart from the isolation .Space . I live on a 150 acres but even then trying to work out where I could put the thing has been so far the hardest thing . I live on a slope on the south side of a valley in a forest of manna gums , light is an issue also the trees drop a lot of stuff . It has to be close enough to the house for security and convenience and protected from the winds that whistle through here . I know , it’s tough . It will still be colder in the greenhouse on a winters night than most places in Oz .i am hoping that it will save me hours of work carrying bonsai back and forth when we get the -5 nights in December . Looking forward to red home grown tomatoes too .
