These cutting grown stock were purchased about 18 months ago , they were 50-70mm high when planted .

The larger plants are around 600mm in length {straight sections} which have been used for straight trunk layers

. The rest of the branches and sub branches were wired and re-wired a couple of times .
The layer were set around 5-6 weeks ago and have quite a few roots forming on most , 3 did die off {over wet} The lower/smaller plants in the middle were cut back for instant Shohin Bonsai when dug , all are progressing nicely .

Various configurations , twisted , fused , multi trunk , shohin , raft and clump styles are hidden under the foliage . These will be dug and potted up or placed into planter bags bringing to the end of another grow bed . Unfortunately giving up a hobby takes a lot of work , but it is happening .

Hi Greg F , mate bonsai requires constant maintenance to keep good tree's healthy , unfortunately I'm not healthy enough to keep up the maintenance . Its time for a change and that requires sacrifices , don't mind sacrificing a few plants to gain freedom again .

Cheers . Ian
