These maples came from one of our local members.
Hope to be creative, will contemplate them over winter.

Cool that the trees are sourced from your local club in Canberra. There seems to many wonderful bonsai artists in Canberra!
"Padawan hey" .... a Jedi apprentice to bonsai master. Don't get me started on Star Wars!
If you first entry is inspired by Hogwarts .... then perhaps Endor for this
.... inspired by Puzzlewood, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.

Hello There … the force is strong with this one.
I am an old school Star Wars tragic too.
Maybe I can 'swamp' them up, put some gnarled twists into them and recreate Dagobah.
Down the track, maybe some Redwoods would make a fantasy Bright Tree Village for the ewoks.
And it is true, we have some truly epic bonsai artists in Canberra.
