Ryan repots a nice cypress.

This is a great tree. The branching is very natural. Hopefully someone take this tree to the next level by giving the branches a bit of separation and each one it's own apex and of course making the top of the tree flat as is natural with this species. Fantastic material that could be a true masterpiece.
I think it's the only Monterey Cypress bonsai I have seen.

That's an amazing tree.

Watching the video I hadn't seen that technique of tying down the tree with the chopsticks pushed into the rootball. Also liked the part where he was topdressing the soil and made sure the soil didn't come up flush with the rim of the pot so the water doesn't escape. I haven't seen many people talk about that despite the importance.

I remember seeing this one, likewise i can't think of another Monteery Cypress bonsai i've come across before, no doubt a beautiful specimen.
