Some smaller Clerodendrum

Hey guy's....
I collected these Clero's a bit earlier than the BIG ones I previously posted , this lot are shooting like crazy and have just given them their first semi style. Any ideas????

if you want to speed up growth stop feeding them mids and put them onto heavys

shannon these are some sweet finds, and more my size, i would be able to move these

, not like your others

im very interested in seeing where you go with these beauty's

i especially like the one in pic 012

are you finding these in neighbors places? yours? or out there hunting?

Only styling option at the moment is the big WAIT and see what develops. Once the trees start shooting and the new branchlets skyrocket with growth... then you can start to see the direction. They are robust growers [not nicknamed Indian Privet for nothing] and you will soon be able to start planning their directions. Good basis for interesting trees.

Hey Dayne hopefully I'll be there, work is crazy at the moment I'm on call Saturday will see what the day brings. Have some killer figs to bring to the workshop.
Always on the hunt Jamie111 these beauties came from up north.
And Anttal 63 the wood is fantastic to carve its nice and hard, will definitely be a bit of wood work on the big ones!

interesting, im north from you and dont see many around, maybe i am not looking in the right spots

how far north are you talking? like hervey bay north where i am, or more rockhampton north?

jamie i know there was some guys up in bundy that used to go on digs for cleros, so your not to far mate, tess simpson at bansai nursery nothhside could possibly tell you more, if i remember correctly she got some sent down to her quite a few years back. i can't fault them they are hardy in our climate and they just don't stop growing..

. Have a scout around the Bay mate I'm sure they would be in some front gardens they do well buy the sea they make great wind breaks!! I collected the big ones from a front yard on the Sunshine coast , drove pass it for years and didn't even notice them

no worries pal, i probably have driven past them all the time without even noticing

all good i will have to keep a keen eyew out for them from now on, i would be more interested in the smaller one not the massive ones though, my back couldnt take lifting those monsters!!
