After going through some old Bonsai in California booklets, I found an Article suggesting olives be collected in the hotter months.
Some nice movement in those trunks, be good to see where they decide to bud from.

Yeah, makes sense to get them in their growing period, more likely to throw shoots and roots out you'd think, they are a wierd one though, I've dug them in April before and they've started throwing buds out in the middle of Winter ... go figure eh, they usually bud from every concievable place on the trunk too which makes branch placement easy.

Yeah I couldn't do anything when you came down the other day sorry, I know where theirs billions of Hawthorns but unfortunatly they're all as straight as an arrow no movement whatsoever ... boring!

Hey John ... we better make sure it regenerates first before we get too carried away, but I'm sure it will then we can talk turkey.

Ahh but hawthorns are sort by their aged bark, movement is no issue.
