Hello all,

Looking for styling advice on my JBP which I have not done much with since previously posting on here last year.

I was tossing up between creating a cascade style but now am thinking that due to the lack of symmetry, that may not be the best path to go down.

Will be looking to repot soon - located South-east Melbourne

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Nice twisty start you have there! You have a few options, but personally I think you could pull an elegant bunion out of this tree. My suggestion would be to feed it well for now, and needle pluck. And prepare for some decandling in summer. Thats what id do, and then id work with the tree next year in autumn when you have a few more options.

Very similar idea. I’d be keeping the red bits as sacrifice if you want more thickness then Jin/remove later. The brown part is the line I see as most usable, maybe some work (bending/movement) in the blue section if possible to remove “straightness”
