Does anyone have, or know where I can get, Satsuki azaleas please? Just nursery stock or tubestock would be fine, but can't seem to find them anywhere.
Thanks in advance!

Where are you located? There is one nursery here in Melbourne that does quite a range of young satsukis but that's no help if you're not in Melbourne.

I have smallish plants of several satsuki varieties and can post trees to Eastern states.

I have 5 azalea varieties I believe are satsuki.
One was from a local nursery. Name on the label is Yochio but no-one can find any record of that variety. Spelling mistake? Not Satsuki? Not sure. It does have smaller, pink flowers.

$20 each
The others came from Bonsai Art so should be authentic.
Kinsai is a strong grower and has unusual spider shape red flowers.
Pics below show 2 sizes: smaller ones $20 each, the larger ones $25 Both are in 11 cm pots.

Kairaku has pink flowers with a white centre. Only a few of these available now. Pic below:

Osakasuki appears to be one of the oldest satsuki varieties. None for sale now.
Shugetsu Not available at this stage.

Do Satsuki Azalea trunks fatten up faster than other azaleas? I have a few yardadoris I am thinking of digging up but their trunks are not very thick. They do have multiple trunks though. Sorry to hijack the thread

Neil correct spelling are Osakazuki and the other one is Yachiyo. Might be easier to find now
Cheers

Make your way down to Bonsai Art Nursery on Old Dandenong Rd in Heatherton and see Trevor there. They are small plants, you won’t find big shrubs at all, but the range is great
