Is this large stump Eugeneia (bazilian cherry)? Can you reduce the leaf size??

They look very interesting and I wouldn't mind getting a few!

The nomenclature change, before was known as: pithecellobium Tortum.
Now it is called: Chloroleucon tortum It is a tree of the family: Fabaceae (=Leguminosae)
Subfamília: Mimosoideae
Scientific name: Chloroleucon tortum (Mart.) Barneby & J.W.Grimes
Synonymy: Pithecellobium tortum Mart., Chloroleucon tortum Pittier

The leaves of the Pitanga can be reduced by take away the leaves.
