Big flat bottom olive.

Hey guys, I flat bottom cut this big olive stump.
Today. Will is survive without any issues?
I’m gona pot it up in a good inorganic mix of pumice akadama and Zeolight.

should be all good from my experience...these collected olives are very hard to kill.

I agree. There are plenty of roots on that one to support it while it grows new ones.
Club members over here regularly collect olives with less roots than this and they nearly all grow.
Note that growth can be slow for the first season, sometimes 2 seasons. After a couple of years roots will still be quite sparse. I repotted some this spring after a couple of years of little growth and they have now taken off and growing more than before.
Not sure if that means early repotting would be better or whether they were just ready to take off whether I repotted or not?

Another vote for it being fine. I regularly flat-cut olives leaving no roots at all and they generally survive. Some will sulk for longer than others before pushing out new growth, and sometimes they don't do anything at all, but I like your chances. Don't stress if it loses its leaves; it'll sort itself out.

Gona reduce the trunk more and remove all the smaller branches
