Hi all,
The numbers of trees i have has been dwindling slowly, so i have a overabundance of pots laying around that i think are best actually used by others. Ideally i would prefer pick-up from S.E Bayside area due to them being fragile. Happy to take better photos of pots as required.
1. Selection of unsigned mame pots i picked up from Koju-en in Kyoto when i was there 3 years or so ago. The brown one isn't from Koju-en, it's a taiwanese one i happen to also have but i'll include it as well. There averaged out around $5-10 each at the time, so i'll do all 11 for $40
3. Japanese unsigned pot with green glaze water reservoir. Uncommon to find but not being used by me. Great option to take a landscape planting to the next level. Dimensions are L= 400mm, W= 200mm at narrowest point, H= 50mm. $150
2. Tokoname Yamafusa oval. Purchased locally 2 or 3 years ago, so quite a recent pot. Beautiful dark blue with slight hint of green in the glaze that would be ideal as a display pot for a shohin deciduous or a clump style tree. Measurements are L=300mm x W=230mm x H=40mm. I haven't used it other than to size up a tree that ended up going in another pot. $175
3. Tokoname Terahata Mazan unglazed shohin rectangle. Orginally from Kobayashi's nursery where it held an Azalea (photo below). Age would be in the vicinity of 30 years or so and has some very nice patina coming. Interesting detail with the chop beings stamped onto the front faces of the pot, Mazan is the main potter who does this, and is a nice point of difference. Would be a wonderful show pot for a shohin pine, juniper or Azalea.
Dimensions are L= 220mm, W= 190mm, H= 45mm. $300
