A Pseudocydonia sinensis or Chinese Quince(Japanese for quince is Karin).
I bought this tree as nursery stock in Melbourne some years ago. It is very slow to grow and thicken, I repotted it 1 month ago and it is in beautiful condition and colour. I plan to let it grow out next year so I can take some cuttings, then make it bud back and get smaller leaves all over and then thin out for shape and inner light.
