Hello! I was wondering if anyone could help me ID this tree. When I bought it I was told it was a Clerodendrum, but I'm not so sure.

Great that you've included good clear photos of leaves, bark and overall tree.
It often helps with ID if you give some more details. Your location can often help us decide if the tree is tropical or temperate species. Knowing where you got it can also help narrow down the possibilities.

Does not look like anything I'm familiar with so I guess it is a warm climate species.

The bark & leaves look exactly like my couple of clerodendrons. If you crush a leaf and it gives off a strong pungent smell it' s definitely a clerodendron.
