[WANTED] Hokkaido Elm and Pomegranate

Ahoy!

As the subject title suggests, I am seeking a Hokkaido (Chinese?) elm.
I understand that the leaves of the Hokkaido are minuscule, 2-4mm minuscule...

Seedling stock, mid sized goods and monsters... I am interested in all!
Just looking for some leads

With pomegranate, I am seeking something nice and sizeable (thick trunks are always cool)

Ray has the strong variety but that may be too far away for you.

Bonsai art did have some Nire? elms. They have the smallest leaves I have ever seen. Maybe worth a look. Leave are about 2mm. Very slow growing.

Jarrod, mine were imported many years ago as Nire elms and have the smallest leaf I have seen at 2 mm.

Since I have found that is the Japanese variety name of Hokkeido.

Also as you point out slow growing make ideal Shito Mame trees.

Cheers ;) Pup

Yes they bud back well and strike well from cuttings.

All of my trees come from cuttings from my original two tree's which are now 22 years, from when I got them, as 5mm struck cuttings as imported.
