repoting a large bougey

heres a smarty pants i dug up in june this is my first ever yamadori saw a mates bogey knew where there was on on a freinds block dug it up put it in a 510mm pot and let it sit till today while at red dragon i grabed a nice pot and potted it up
its a smarty pants they have tiny tight foliage with great flowers and are twigier than the big climbers
the soil is 50/50 debco custom and diatomite

thanks guys ill wait a few weeks then start some wiring and some carving and a bit of wood preserving

went out and bought a little ozito copy of a dremmel today came with a million attatchments and a remote cable end for hard to reach places so the carving will be ready soon the tool was only $49.00 bargain

i have an ozito aswell with the cable attachment and its great, i dont know what the bits are like from ozito, if you have dremmel bits you will be much better off, the cut much better and easier, and they fit into ozito no dramas

Make sure you paint the wounds with wound-dressing paste/paint as bougs are prone to rotting. The best wound dressing that I've been using is bought from the Tess's nursery. She also used this on her famuous boug (you could see the pic on the front-page of her website)

heres the tree defoliated and wired took hours but droped the height of the tree alot
