Ceratopetalum gummiferum, Albury’s Red

I purchased a Ceratopetalum gummiferum, Albury’s Red in January this year. Nostalgic purchase, they grew wild where I grew up.
As I'm going to cut it back heavily in spring, I applied some layers to the bits that are going to see what happened. Looks to be callousing up well with a white area that could be the new roots starting
