Bonsai Bench for Rental

I live in a rental in the Inner West of Sydney.

Whilst I have a reasonable aspect for the garden, there isn’t much of it.

So today I finally built a bench on the south side of the drive way to get things up in the sun for winter.

It isn’t built to last, and everything, other than the screws are from reclaimed materials found in my lane way. The tools used are also from my local tool library.

Nice one you may have to tie the bigger trees and be careful when you have tall trees on there. Had a gust if wind blow away my Eucalyptus and that was on the ground!!

Lol

Yea. Definitely need another bench.

I have one on the other side. But that is currently in shade.

It is good for summer, not so good for winter!!!

I have thought about how good that would be, especially as it is flat, and after seeing @ryceman3 rooftop! Not quite sure how I'd get up there!!!

But I do have access to my neigbhours roof... you know one of those old lean-to's. Given the difference in height I can put some up there! The only problem is watering. It obviously goes down into their yard. It is pushing boundaries when I put the Charlie Carp on them... Especially given the rusty :palm:

hmmmm good point! The recent winds did manage to blow over some of the small cuttings in a spot on the neighbours wall / roof that I thought was really well protected.

I might put up a edge on the bench. It should save both them from being blown over and being knocked over from careless family members as they are getting in and out of the car.
