New pots

A box arrived at the post office today.
New pots from Brendon at Bad Swan pottery in WA :tu: https://www.badswanceramics.com.au/
I had initially asked about smaller pots but these looked too good to pass up and i usually have plenty of trees waiting for pots. :)

It took a while to unpack... Brendon does not take chances with pots breaking in the mail. Lots of bubble wrap, paper and packing tape so they all came out safe and sound.

Time to see if anything fits these :fc:

Apologies for the photo showing sideways. Portrait shots seem to turn back to the original orientation when uploaded.

I could not find the right tree for this great pot so it's on the shelf waiting.

Thanks for the great pots Brendon. :worship:

Love his pots, but you've got to be quick before they sell out.

Got to love "goodies" in the post.

Very nice, indeed - I particularly like the oval with the "crawl" glaze.

While waiting for Wagga Bonsai members to arrive this morning I moved a shimpaku into a new Luke Parsons pot.

A new box of pots arrived via personal delivery today. Thanks for the pots Val and thanks Peter for delivering.

I've only used one so far but have a couple more in mind for this weekend.
This juniper looks Ok from both sides so I'll give you front and back.

The long, lower branch will probably go but that's enough work on this one for now.

Christmas, indeed. Such an appealing selection it's hard to choose a favourite, they are all super.

Enjoy, and I, too, look forward to seeing what you select to pot up.

Thanks Neil for posting photos of your new pots.
Appreciate the contributions you make to show and instruct the Ausbonsai community, always informative.

Really like the colours of the last pot , the one with the trident in it .

I thought that one was good too Sno. It was a bit bigger than I really wanted but decided to take it because of that glaze. The trident was not on my priority list to pot up just yet but it was the best fit for the pot. I guess the smaller space should restrict growth somewhat so building ramification should be easier now.

Well done Val. Look forward to a few more smaller ones at some stage.

It is a fraction later than usual repotting time for tridents but I'm confident this one will be OK

I'm still loving the pot show, and might I say an excellent selection from all around the country.
Oh, and the trees are pretty good too!
