Yes. its plum flowering time. I'll kick off with one of mine but please post your darlings. The more the merrier.
This first one is a little annoying as it flowers from the top down and I want it to flower all over all at once. I'll give it another chance next year. By the way, may I call this a literati?

My one and only flowering bonsai-in-progress.
Prunus Elvins…picked up from Kirky I think a few years back!
Probably not up to standard quite yet but thought I’d participate!

Thanks R3, now we are cooking.
I'll chuck another in the mix, not a bonsai but could be very soon.

I purchased something as a cherry but think it's actually a plum, if it flowers I'll post it for certification of re-entry to the plum club after a time without one

Here’s mine, it’s trying to be a bonsai but is not bonsai stock. Just seeing what happens in the next few years, if it’s still not a winner I might layer it closer to the graft. It’s a purple leaf plum:

Flowering will depend on local conditions.
I noticed this collected plum flowering last week. By the time this thread started it ahs almost finished. This one collected 2020.

The other collected plum I have kept is flowering a little more than feral #1 but the trunk is not quite so attractive yet.

Definitely needs more work and probably more carving before I'd show it.

This is not a bonsai but it could be next year. Beautiful pale pink flowers and this has red leaves all year, well except when it loses its leaves.

I was away in the less cool hemisphere for a fortnight, and missed the peak of this Elvins’ flowering. It had a rough summer, thanks to mites, and had to be repotted before travelling, which presumably affected flowering. Still, it’s the prettiest stick on my shelf at the moment!

my submission for request to join the plum club, no idea what species this is and might need watto's deep plum knowledge to guide that, but very sweet little snow white flower about to burst with an index finger for scale. My sincere appologies that the highest quality of the photo is of my finger and not the flower
