A New Old Man Serrata

I picked up this tree about 18 months ago, was already quite thick back then.
Have just been letting it grow on in the 200mm plastic pot it came in. Decided it was time to cut it down to size, remove about 50% branches/trunk, and potted it up on the new current angle. From this viewpoint it has nicer taper than in reality.
Am fairly happy with the branch placement.
Beer can for "Standard Unit of Measurement" for scale/size.
When potting I kept telling myself ... "off center, off center" then once in, I regretted my decision to put it on the far right, think far left would have been better which would have placed the center of the tree/apex over the pot.
Might even trim the top third off next time, will see how bushy it gets. I've noticed it tends to shoot new branches where branches currently exist, rather than back budding.
Am loving the bark, its wrinkles and crackles.
Not sure if I'll get much ramification with it, will give it a year or so before trying a round of defoliation.
