I recently saw this massive raft snow gum in a Tasmanian national park. which I found so impressive and inspiring, it such a interesting and rare tree form. this tree was definitely the largest raft I have ever seen, the images do not communicate the scale (the panorama, has also distorted it a bit, the arch is more subtle and longer in person). it is so big one could comfortably walk under this arch standing up. hopefully some day I will get some better images of it. we were racing dark to get to the next camp. if anyone has any other Australian rafts feel free to share in this thread.
