Melaleuca Ericifolia - Swamp Paperbark

Time to document these Swamp Paperbark, which I believe is Mel Ericifolia?

These were bought as tube stock in August of 2024 from Bunnings, and repotted in to 4" or 6 " pots with either 100% pumice, or 70/30 Pumice & pine bark nuggets.

Most of Spring, Summer and Autumn they were kept in a shallow tray of water, and the roots quickly began filling the pots, and even growing in to the water.

I kept an eye on them, and when the pot was hard to squeeze I knew they were full of roots, and ready for a repot. They were slip potted up to the next size pot which I had available. I have generally just pot up my small seedlings, and trees I want to fatten up in to the biggest pot I have available from the get go. However I have come to learn this may not be the best method.

Some of these received a lot more sunlight than others which I think is why the trunk sizes are so different.

They are nothing special as yet, however this is from not much more than toothpick thick, 10cm tall tubestock in 10 months.

I am still relatively new to natives other than figs and callistemon so any advice, tips, & tricks would be greatly appreciated.
