Cherry Blossom Bonsai

Started this project a few years ago the picture below is the first flowering. The tree is a Prunus x ‘Okame’

This photo was taken a few days ago, easy to wire and make look unatural but hard to make it feel natural again.

It's a nice cherry. Use mainly clip and grow. Wiring cherries usually leads to fake looking trees and they don't like having their branches bent anyway.
I wire mine just to direct the branches a bit if they need it but I would not try to shape a branch with wire putting curves in it. Sharp, angular movement always looks best with all prunus and especially cherries IMO.

I might try some techniques on bonsaiQ on youtube how they get right angles on branches by crushing the new shoot fibers and using sticky tape to keep them in place, will be trying it on my Ume aswell.
