Ledanta Virtual Comp - Dec 2009 (Jan 2010 - abit late!)

Sorry I am late! Got a bit busy!
I have decided on the Magnolia for this comp (quicker to photograph!) than the cedar group for xmas! I will keep the cedar group up my sleeve for a time when I can take 4 photos each of a bunch of cedar to put in a group!
So - here is the Magnolia!

i took the first pic for the nebari and the movement from the nebari to the first branch on the right for a more immediate buttress.
not sure the flowers this one has either, so i pinched some good lookin magnolia flowers from a shot of a magnolia in the american collection...

See if you can put some flowers on them! This one has a cream and purple flower - looks great just before the foliage comes!
