Guys,

Here is a snap shot of my prize Bogie, i gave it har restyle yesterday and discovered that the left side of the base is rotting. I will have to do a major carve and use wood hardener.

If I was you I would go with the flow. Carve so that water does not get caught. Wood hardener on a wood this soft would just be an uphill battle in my opinion. Go with the flow then you can work with the future not against it.
