Having said on the fuchsia thread that I have none to spare, seems we have a couple now!
The larger is 59 x 42 cm external measure, 31 cm deep internal meas. $20
The smaller is 48 x 38 external and 26 cm deep internal ! $15
The timber is about 1 cm thick and they are strongly built. As you see in the second picture the underside has a couple of strips across which will keep it off the ground, making it better for drainage and easier to lift.
Large one has a knothole near the base, could easily be plugged if you want. There is some printing on them, could be sanded off if you like. Much more attractive than poly broccoli boxes! Not going to try posting them, so pickup only from Kanmantoo (near Nairne, Adelaide Hills)
Prices are negotiable, and I am easily bribed with starter plants and cheap pots

All the original three have been sanded back now, and treated with linseed oil which has brought up the colour quite a bit darker, the wood is still quite rough, was never great quality, but they are looking pretty good now. Another of the smaller size has turned up, this has not been dealt with yet.
If I can get to a nursery today, mine will be planted by nightfall :d Not even sure what to plant in it yet, might look for some promising azaleas which need a few years to thicken up, and they can brighten up my shadehouse in the meantime. Hopefullly will be getting some really shallow ones (6 inches or so) which will be better for pretraining growboxes.

I like the strips underneath, it doesn't sit flat on the ground, and easy to get fingers underneath and move when needed. What we get depends on husband's work, but things are looking hopeful for more of these. Some I will sell as planted herb gardens, and use for myself, as I get around to it.

Now home to a bay tree, a passionfruit vine, a portulaca, an azalea over a tile , two cinnamon trees, corsican mint, a grapevine (heeled in until planting season) a lime scented verbena, much lemon grass, a camellia, tho Im sure I can still fit more in the last one...maybe move over the boug cuttings as they seem to be taking...
Although nobody offered, I will post again if and when I get some more handy, still wont mind if I end up keeping em, I can envisage the patio area with succulent planters..
